Meet Our Doctor and Founding Member

Dr. Craig is a proud graduate of the University of Missouri with both a B.S. in Animal Science and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.  She started her career working as a mixed animal practitioner and now is a small animal veterinarian with an interest in pocket pets.  Dr. Craig spent formative years as a veterinarian within an inner city practice focused on urgent and routine care before transitioning to medical director, mentor, and lead associate for multiple practices.  She loves the variety that comes with working in the animal health care field and loves challenging complex cases particularly of a surgical nature.  She is adept at breaking down cases for clientele so that they can understand all their options and she loves to go the extra mile for her patients. She is licensed in Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska and is certified with the USDA-APHIS and Fear Free.  

She has had numerous types of pets over the years, but is currently a dog mom to a sassy red Australian Cattle Dog, a goofy Golden Retriever,  a charming Goldendoodle, and a very big Bernedoodle.  Additionally, she has a constant companion of an opinionated Russian Blue Feline.  She has had multiple rabbits over the years and holds a very soft spot for Lops in particular.  Her last rabbit, Hareiett, acted as a therapy pet to her clients’ children at her offices.
